How Many More?
/Time and time again, we are heartbroken by the news of another shooting in this country. We MUST stand together and continue to say Enough is Enough!
2019 marks the 49th anniversary of Kent State, when members of the Ohio National Guard shot students of Kent State University, during a mass student protest of the Vietnam War. This event led to further protests nationwide, inspiring many young people to get involved in activism.
The incident became a benchmark in American history that brought young people to action and launched a generation into activism.
So why do we let history repeat itself? It’s time again to inspire a generation to commit themselves to action, and stand up together to “Do Something” about it!
How many more families and communities need to be rattled by tragedy in this country?
